What the hell is it with Linux users? Instead of being friendly and helpful with newbies (which would make sense YOU WANT AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE USING LINUX DONT YOU?), they act like your on your own and try to make the simplest things sound as complex as possible. Common sayings include "Sounds like your ALSA arcitecture is conflicting with the PCI Device in-built at MOUNT point 7. You could DISASSEMBLE the source then re-engineer a new Device RPM package or Run console and type file://root/usr/tmp/drv/sys/root/blah/blah/blah/usr/Snd -rn -t?gfg -rrhjzzk -ff888."
Why not try to make things as user friendly as possible? or if not explain exactly how to do things? If you want any windows users to switch u need to take the hard work out of linux. All devices should set up easily and if u need to install a non standard device why do u need to type 30 lines of code to do a simple operation? There is such thing as automated scripts
